Exploring Printmaking Techniques
This is a four day comprehensive traditional creative printmaking course that teaches several disciplines. The aim of the course is to facilitate the participants in being effective using the main disciplines of printmaking. The participants will be guided through each stage and skill and should end up with very attractive finished work and edition-able prints.
Day one: Monotype, carborundum, dry-point and multi-plates registration.Day two: Soft ground and hard ground etching.Day three: Aquatint.Day four: Proofing and creating small editions, working in any of the skills learnt during the first three days, and combining them.
* Cost does not include accommodation. Artform also provide an artist accommodation package.
Details on art materials required to participate in the course will be provided after signing up to the course.
